NSCAD APPLICANTS: We are still accepting undergraduate applications for Fall 2020: While our physical campus facilities are closed right now, due to the impacts of the current global pandemic and in accordance with provincial health guidelines, our staff are working remotely to support you through the admission process.

This September, we are eager to welcome our new students. In accordance with provincial health guidelines in response to COVID-19, Fall courses will be offered through remote delivery in all programs.  Our Fall plans were made with deep consideration for our students, faculty, staff and the communities to which they belong. We are working hard to ensure we all stay safe and healthy and that students from across our province, Canada, and the world can pursue their education during this unpredictable, changing context, regardless of where they live.

FALL 2020 REGISTRATION: Initial projections were that registration for the Fall 2020 semester would take place during May or June. As course instruction for the Fall 2020 semester has moved online, the release of the academic calendar and registration for classes has been delayed. Expect the Fall 2020 Academic Calendar and registration to take place in mid-to-late July.

WINTER 2021: While provincial health guidelines will determine the mode of course delivery for the Winter 2021 semester, we are considering and developing plans for all possible outcomes. This includes instruction on line, on campus or a hybrid of both.

ONLINE INFO SESSION: We will be offering an ongoing series of department specific online info sessions. Whatever your area of interest, you are encouraged to join us online to meet faculty and instructors, learn about what to expect in terms of online and on campus instruction, and virtually familiarize yourself with our campus and facilities, and ask questions. Go to  https://my.nscad.ca/events/index.do for details.

NSCAD COMMITTED OR DEFFERED STUDENTS: If you have made a commitment to student, either this fall or in the future, we are here to support you as you transition to student.

STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN LANGUAGE STUDIES: Registration will not be available until the completion of your language studies. Once you have completed your language studies, please reach out to admissions@nscad.ca

Should you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at admissions@nscad.ca.
